FREE RETROFIT TRAINING

This foundation level training course, provides a clear baseline to what Retrofit is, the various roles involved in this and the overall approach to improving the energy efficiency of a property.

A great course for all to anyone involved in construction, repair and maintenance, housing and facilities management.

The term ‘Retrofit’ has been adopted by the construction industry when referring to implementing measures to existing building stock that make it more energy efficient.

The recent standards of PAS 2035 outline a best practice approach that project managers (known as Retrofit Coordinators) should adopt when designing, installing and handing over an installation to upgrade a property so that it achieves improved energy efficiency.

Various other standards and schemes require this approach to meet UK guidelines and to ensure all the time, effort and resource that’s put into ‘retrofitting’ a property, meets the overall objectives.
